Gallery Location

Locks Gallery is located in historic downtown Philadelphia, PA, at the southeast corner of Washington Square Park, blocks away from historic Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. The Park is one of the five original planned squares in William Penn's original plans for Philadelphia and is now part of Independence National Historical Park.

From New York and Northern New Jersey

Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 6 (Pennsylvania Turnpike). Follow signs for 95 South/Philadelphia. When approaching Philadelphia, follow signs for Independence Hall/6th Street and go south on 6th Street about 10 blocks. You will pass Independence Hall on the left and Washington Square Park on the right. 

From Delaware & Points South

Take I-95 North to Exit 22 for "Central Phila/I-676." Follow signs for Phila/Independence Hall/Callowhill Streets. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Stay straight on Callowhill Street and turn left onto 6th Street. Follow 6th Street south to Washington Square South. 

Parking & Public Transit

There is limited metered street parking around Washington Square; two parking garages are located just south of the gallery on either side of 6th Street. Locks Gallery is near the 8th and 5th Street stations of the Market-Frankford Subway Line, 8th Street PATCO station, and stops on the the #42 and #21 Walnut Street bus routes.
