Jennifer Bartlett is the subject of a traveling survey exhibition beginning at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Jennifer Bartlett: History of the Universe (Works 1970–2011) brings together major works on steel plates and canvas, as well as sculptural installations, from the 1970s until now. An accompanying catalog will be available, edited by Klaus Ottmann. Starting mid-May 2013, Locks Gallery presents Jennifer Bartlett: Chaos Theory, an exhibition looking back at Bartlett's consistent fascination with systems of colors and shapes, from the 1970s until today.
